What does CIF do?

CIF will provide a total of up to $875 million to eligible municipalities as well as not-for-profit organizations and community development corporations that operate within them. Planning for capital projects including activities such as community engagement processes, feasibility studies, development of project plan and construction budget.

How much money does the CIF give a year?

The CIF will award up to $175 million each fiscal year. It will be awarded across two or more application periods per year. The fund is a statewide program authorized in Section 32-285a of the Connecticut General Statutes.
